Rules

Eligibility Requirements for Nomination

• Nominations are to be submitted, through this website, by a High School Senior Counselor, or a Varsity Coach, or a School Official (Principal, Assistant Principal)
  • There is no limit to the number of candidates that can be nominated by a single counselor, coach, or high school

• Nominations must include the name, telephone number, and email address of a High School Senior Counselor or a School Official who has access to academic information on all students
  • All selected nominations will be verified by the Senior Counselor or School Official before the student will be considered as a potential Scholar Athlete
  • Nominations that do not have complete, or valid, Senior Counselor or School Official information provided will be not be accepte

• Students cannot be family members of State Farm employees, or of State Farm agents or their agency staff members

• Students must be high school seniors who excel both in academics and athletics meeting the following criteria
  • Graduate with the Class of 2011
  • Maintain a 3.0+ GPA or equivalent
  • Currently participate in at least one UIL Varsity High School sport
    • Varsity sports currently designated by the UIL include
      • Baseball
      • Basketball
      • Cross Country
      • Football
      • Golf
      • Soccer
      • Softball
      • Swimming & Diving
      • Team Tennis
      • Tennis
      • Track & Field
      • Volleyball
      • Wrestling
