New to the Texas Scholar Athlete program this year, the group of school representatives who are eligible to nominate a student for a State Farm® Texas Scholar Athlete Scholarship now includes Varsity Coaches.
To be eligible, he/she must be an authorized coach of a UIL Varsity program in the school in which the student has been involved during the student’s high school career. Because the nomination includes academic information to which coaches might not have access, all nominations submitted by coaches must link to a counselor who will be able to supply and verify academic and extracurricular involvement and achievements.
