Scholar Athletes honored at UT vs A&M Basketball Game

Ten Texas Scholar Athletes who attend Texas A&M were honored before the UT vs A&M Men’s Varsity Basketball game on Saturday February 27th.
This
year,
State Farm is honoring one college student athlete before each State
Farm Lone
Star Showdown event (varsity competition between the University of
Texas and Texas A&M). As part of our sponsorship of the Lone Star
Showdown, we will donate $250 to the home university's General
Scholarship Fund in honor of each of the home team members that is
distinguished as a student athlete.
While honoring the selected A&M Student Athlete (Nathan Walkup), ten State Farm Texas Scholar Athletes, who currently attend
the Texas A&M University, were honored by State Farm Agent Larry Wilkerson Jr. before the start of the Men’s
Varsity Basketball game between the University of Texas and Texas A&M and Reed Arena.
