Scholar Athletes honored at A&M vs UT Basketball Game

Six Texas Scholar Athletes were honored before the A&M vs
UT Men’s Varsity Basketball game on Saturday January 16th.
This
year, State Farm is honoring one college student athlete before each State Farm Lone
Star Showdown event (varsity competition between the University of Texas and Texas A&M). As part of our sponsorship of the Lone Star Showdown, we will donate $250 to the home university's General Scholarship Fund in honor of each of the home team members that is distinguished as a student athlete.
While honoring the selected UT Student Athletes (Justin Mason, Dexter Pittman, Damian James), six high school State Farm Texas Scholar Athletes, who currently attend
the University of Texas, were honored by State Farm Agents Todd Crosley and Jane McQuiggins-Hutson before the start of the Men’s
Varsity Basketball game between Texas A&M and University of Texas at the Frank C. Erwin Jr. Sports Center.
